Being accepted by the admissions board, obtaining a degree or diploma, on to the next round: that’s how it felt after we received the letter from CIZ (Centrum Indicatiestelling Zorg, the Dutch institution that 
determines how many hours of care you are eligible for according to the general law on exceptional medical expenses). We get to keep our hours of at home care for Vera! Those hours are so desperately needed. We even got more hours than last year and we must say, it is not entirely clear to us how these types of cases are being evaluated. It feels like cramming for an exam and the test being
about completely different material than you expected and then finding out you passed. Strange but true. We went from praying desperate prayers to giving thanks. Dance for joy! We feel such a strong sense of relief after a tense week.
